[MSC]Price Announcement – Trade from the Far East to North Europe – Effective December 15, 2023

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company, announces the following new freight of all kinds (FAK¹) rates export Asia to North Europe.

Effective as of 15 December 2023, until further notice from all Asian ports (including Japan, Korea & Southeast Asia) to North Europe, the new rates in US Dollars unless otherwise specified:

* Base port to base port rates. Out-ports are subject to the usual TAO/TAD

The above base rates are: 

• Inclusive of the Base Rate (i.e. ocean freight rate) that is subject to:
  GFS (Global Fuel Surcharge) – VATOS USD 180/360/360 valid for December 2023
  ECA (Emission Control Area) to North Europe only, rates are subject to ECA of USD 15 per TEU (Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Ireland, Belgium, Germany, UK, Netherlands, France) and USD 52 per TEU (Nordic and Baltic remaining countries).

MSC agencies’ standard terms and conditions apply including MSC’s standard Bill of Lading. Unless otherwise specified in MSC agencies’ standard terms and conditions.

Key point:

Effective Date: New FAK (Freight All Kind) rates for exports from Asia to North Europe are effective from December 15, 2023, until further notice.

Coverage: The new rates apply from all Asian ports, including Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia, to North Europe.

Base Rates: The new base port-to-base port rates are set in US Dollars.

Surcharges: Base rate (Ocean freight) subject to a Global Fuel Surcharge (GFS) of USD 180/360/360 for December 2023 & Emission Control Area (ECA) of USD 15 per TEU for certain countries and USD 52 per TEU for Nordic and Baltic countries.

Standard Terms: MSC’s standard terms and conditions, including the Bill of Lading, apply.

Exclusions: FAK rates exclude IMO Category commodities and high-value commodities.

Công ty Vận tải Địa Trung Hải MSC thông báo các mức giá cước vận chuyển hàng hóa các loại (FAK1) mới cho xuất khẩu từ Châu Á đến Bắc Âu như sau:

Có hiệu lực từ ngày 15 tháng 12 năm 2023, cho đến khi có thông báo mới từ tất cả các cảng châu Á (bao gồm Nhật Bản, Hàn Quốc & Đông Nam Á) đến Bắc Âu, các mức giá mới bằng đô la Mỹ trừ khi được quy định khác:

• Tỷ lệ từ cảng cơ sở đến cảng cơ sở. Các cảng phụ thuộc vào mức TAO/TAD thông thường.

Các mức giá cơ sở trên:

Bao gồm Giá Cơ Sở (tức là giá cước vận chuyển đường biển) và chưa bao gồm:

• GFS (Phụ phí nhiên liệu toàn cầu) – VATOS 180/360/360 USD, có hiệu lực cho tháng 12 năm 2023
• ECA (Khu vực kiểm soát phát thải) đến Bắc Âu, giá phụ thuộc vào ECA là 15 USD mỗi TEU (Ba Lan, Đan Mạch, Thụy Điển, Ireland, Bỉ, Đức, Vương quốc Anh, Hà Lan, Pháp) và 52 USD mỗi TEU (các quốc gia Bắc Âu và Baltic còn lại).
