Headlines:
TMF Rate Increase: Effective November 1, 2023, the Traffic Mitigation Fee (TMF) will increase to $35.57 per TEU and $71.14 per FEU.
Prepayment Option: Starting October 16, customers can prepay containers at either the current rates or the new rates effective November 1. Prepayment at the new rates is recommended for containers moving on or after November 1.
Rate Adjustment Credits: Import containers prepaid at the new rate but moved before November 1 will receive a credit for the difference to be used for future fees.
Additional Fees: Import containers claimed at current rates but moved on or after November 1 will incur an additional fee of $1.36 per TEU or $2.72 per FEU.
Unclaiming Containers: Do not unclaim and reclaim unmoved Import containers, as it may delay their release on or after November 1.
Direct Pay Exports: Billed based on the fee rate at the time of the gate transaction and do not require prepayment.

Effective November 1, 2023, the Traffic Mitigation Fee (TMF) will increase to $35.57 per TEU and $71.14 per FEU.
Effective 00:00 Hours on Wednesday, November 1st, Import containers being claimed will be required to be prepaid at the new rate.
Beginning Monday, October 16th you will have the ability to prepay containers at either the current rates or the new rates effective on November 1 If your containers are expected to move on or after November 1st we recommend claiming your Import containers using the new rates. An Import container prepaid at the full new rate that actually moves before or on October 31st (before the effective rate increase) will have the difference between the new rate paid and the lower current rate incurred credited back to their account. Those partial funds credited back are then available to be used toward future fees to be paid.
If an Import container is claimed/paid for at the current rates of $34.21 TEU /$68.42 FEU but moves on or after November 1, 2023, then an additional $1.36/TEU or $2.72/FEU will be placed on your accounts Import Fees Due page of the website for additional payment.
Do not attempt to unclaim and reclaim unmoved Import containers already claimed as this could prevent the container from being released on or after November 1st.
Direct Pay Exports will be billed based on the fee rate in place at the time of the gate transaction and do not require prepayment.

Hiệu lực từ 00:00 giờ Thứ Tư, ngày 1 tháng 11, các container nhập khẩu được khai báo sẽ phải được thanh toán trước theo mức phí mới. Bắt đầu từ Thứ Hai, ngày 16 tháng 10, bạn sẽ có thể thanh toán trước cho các container theo mức phí hiện tại hoặc mức phí mới có hiệu lực vào ngày 1 tháng 11. Nếu các container của bạn dự kiến sẽ di chuyển vào hoặc sau ngày 1 tháng 11, chúng tôi khuyên bạn nên khai báo các container nhập khẩu của mình theo mức phí mới.
