There are 400 more students with FIATA certificates in the logistics industry.
After two years of study and training, more than 400 students from TDTU’s High Quality International Business Program’s Courses 22 and 23 were honored with the FIATA Diploma in Freight International Certificate (FIATA).
At the end of November, Ton Duc Thang University’s Faculty of Business Administration (TDTU), in cooperation with the Vietnam School of Aviation and Logistics, held a ceremony to award FIATA graduation certificates to TDTU students .
Mr. Thomas Sim, Vice President of the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Association – FIATA; Mr. Dang Vu Thanh and Tran Chi Dung, representatives of the Vietnam Logistics Association (VLA); and Ms. Huynh Nhu Nguyet, CEO of the Vietnam School of Aviation and Logistics Co., Ltd. attended the ceremony (VILAS). Furthermore, there were representatives of business experts teaching and guiding subject projects, as well as businesses supporting students’ internships and practical training.
On the TDTU side, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Minh Ly, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration; Dr. Phung Minh Tuan, Assistant Dean; Dr. Pham Thi Ngan, Head of the International Business Department; some lecturers, and students from Course 22, K23, while also student representatives from other courses in the Faculty of Business Administration.

The TDTU’s high-quality International Business program provides an integrated vocational certificate in international freight forwarding management (FIATA). This is a program whereby the university lecturers and business experts collaborate to teach modules on supply chain management, commerce, and logistics service management. Learners within that course are coached through training and experience by combining theory and practice to improve practical capacity. The program is based on knowledge and skills that will provide the next generation of highly qualified personnel in Vietnam’s growing industry. With the target of orienting students to develop skills and creating a competitive advantage in the global labor market, TDTU has quickly implemented training programs for international practice certificates in parallel with the education program formality at school.
Furthermore, the ceremony also included talk show “Adapting to Changes in the Workplace,” which featured speakers from FIATA, VILAS, and some reputable enterprises in the field of Logistics and Supply Chain. The sharing session briefed students about the current state of the Logistics industry in the face of worldwide uncertainties such as the epidemic, the Ukraine-Russia crisis, and the wave. Inflation is sweeping the globe,… The speakers shared useful insight into the role of studying International Business related to logistics and supply chain subjects, the importance of international trade development, and the need for students to equip themselves with the adaptability to today’s dynamic business environment.
